I've had a horrible time transferring files from my XP computer to a new
desktop running Vista Home Premium. I run Office 03 and Outlook 03. Vista's
transfer utility did not transfer my recent Outlook e-mail, recent
appointments, and completely failed to transfer some of my archived material.
I believe all that data is in the .pst file in XP, which I can easily find.
I can find no such file using Search in Vista.
Where is this .pst info hiding in Vsta, and how can I get ALL my Outlook
data and archives transferred properly? The hair that I've pulled out covers
my floor. Thanks for any help.

Copy you 'old' OL data files to eg My Documents on Vista
In OL, File>Open>Data File.....browse to the location.
If neccessary copy data from this file to the default Personal Folders
(Data) file
or simply leave them open to refer to
