I recently transfered the Outlook data from my wife's old pc to a new Dell
with Vista home premium. Her Outlook email and contacts I transfered in a
..pst file.
The transfer occurred between Outlook 2007 (old pc) to Outlook 2007
(Dell-new). I created a folder "Outlook" on the Dell desktop, put
transfer.pst in there and imported it into Outlook.
Worked great.
Then I deleted Transfer.pst and the folder "Outlook". Not so great.
Now every time I start Outlook on the Dell, the program is searching for the
Outlook folder and the file transfer.pst. Even worse, the folder "Outlook" is
created automatically on the desktop everytime I start Outlook.
How do I stop the program from looking for transfer.pst and resurrecting
"Zombie"folders on the desktop.? The emails and contacts are still there
evenw/o transfer.pst.
Thanks
