how do i transfer my i tunes library from 1 pc (xp) to another pc (vista). i
have my library (about 3000 songs) on my desktop, just both a new laptop and
DO NOT have my i pod. please help

Why not find a Vista discussion group to ask in? This is a .NET programming
group.

http://www.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/en-us/default.aspx

In the tree on the left, first open the English category, then open Windows.
In Windows, find and open the category for Windows Vista.
In that category, find a group to post in.
