Transfer DHCP Server

Dear all,

There're 2 DHCP Servers in the LAN, DHCP1, DHCP2, both running win2k server,
Now, I need to stop dhcp2 for certain reason, so I build another Win2k
Server and make it available to act as the orininal dhcp2 server.
I've restored the dhcp configuration from dhcp2 to the new one, but it seems
doesn't work well.
Now, all the clients pc try to get IP address just through dhcp1, new server
does't assign any IP address to the client.
If I need do any further configuration on the new server?
Any comments or advices would be grateful.

Thanks,
RL

are the scopes enable on the new DHCP server? If not enable the scopes
through the DHCP MMC
is the new DHCP server authorized in AD? If not authorize the DHCP
server through the DHCP MMC.
