Hi I have the Sonic program that is recomended on the Movie Maker site so I
can make DVDs.

I am using the Movie Maker's Create clips feature. How can I transfer these
individual clips from MM to Sonic's program?

Hi Jeff,

You're right - the info is in the reference material about using Movie
Maker, not on the website itself.

An overview is: move the clip(s) from the collection to the project
timeline/storyboard, save the project as a movie, then use the movie in
Sonic's DVD program.

Thanks PapaJohn.
Love your Pizza and your website.
So that means it is kind of pointless to use clips in MM..?
thanks!

Right, it would be pointless if you are not doing any editing while there -
like adding text, transitions, background music, etc.

If your clips are already what you want on the DVD, just use Sonic.

Thanks for the positive note,

ok - little confused here.

I like how MM auto-splits my movie up. But If I have to assemble them to
make a movie to then export to sonic, so i can then cut them up again, then
why?

I hope I can just export all the clips to sonic, then let sonic add a menu
for each clip.
If i can do this then i don't know how.

You can do it, one clip at a time. Make a separate movie for each clip, save
them as new clips to use in Sonic.
