Tranferring Web and FP From One Drive to Another

I have been approaching this problem from another direction. Now I
would like to know how to set up FP 2000 and a web on another drive or
computer. Publishing from the ISP's server is not an option. No
server extensions installed.

FP was on the original drive, along with the web files. Then the
drive lost the ability to boot. The files were still intact. A new
boot drive was installed with XP Home and FrontPage 2000. Then the
web files were moved from the old drive to the new drive in the same
relative location as the original.

The web opens OK, but there is no theme or navigation. I expected
this as the applicable registry files are still on the original drive.
What is the easiest way to rebuild the files on the new drive so as to
regain the theme and navigation?

Open the site on the old drive (it's still intact, you said) and Publish to
a new folder on the new drive. When prompted that the folder is not a Web
folder, respond to create one, then when you are informed that there are no
Server Extensions installed, continue.

Thanks Chuck. Hadn't thought about that because my friend (the one
with the problem) lost the ability to boot Windows on the old drive.
I'm sure that made him think he couldn't open FP on the old drive. I
told him to use the file manager to open FP directly using its .exe
file.
