training an absolute beginner in Access programming

I have a friend who wants to learn to program Access 97.
The only release he has available - I know it is jurassic!

Can anyone recommend a book that really does teach
Acccess 97 programming from zero knowledge?

It's also still very widely used, and is probably the most reliable
version of Access out there.

I really like _Running Access 97_ by John Viescas (Microsoft Press).
It may not still be available from them, but there should be used
copies around.
