Tracking Changes

Rich Mogy

I know there is "track changes" capability within Excel, but I am creating
a workbook from another program and want to make sure that function is
turned on before a distribute the workbook to various users.

Any ideas would be appreciated

activeworkbook.KeepChangeHistory=true

doesn't seem to work.

Thanks in advance

Hi,

The workbook must be Shared first. Choose Tools, Share workbook, and check
allow changes by...
The choose Tools, Track Changes, Highlight Changes, and check List changes
on a new sheet.

If this helps, please click the Yes button.

Cheers,
