Tracking changes between multiple docs

Hi,

If I have two docs, doc A and B, is there a way to lock doc A for changes
until doc B is succesfully changed.
I am currently trying to translat english-french from doc A - doc B, but I
don't want to change anything in doc A until I finish translating. For single
user environment the best bet would be to do it manually, but what about when
doc A has to be translated in doc B, C, D, E.... It woule could be disturbing
to change doc A when a part of it has already been translated..

Tools/Protection offers you a number of possible ways to prevent accidental
editing of a document, while still allowing you to open and look at it.
Protecting as a form will prevent any kind of selection or typing. Protecting
for change tracking will mark anything you edit so that you can see what was
changed, and how (and you can reject all the changes if you wish, to return to
the original version). Protecting for comments will only allow insertion of
comments, but no changes to the text.
