Track Changes

I have 3 completely different docs, all with tracked
changes in. Is there any way to copy the text from 2 of
the docs into the other one and still retain the
highlighting from the tracked changes?

If anyone can help, I would be really grateful.

Curiously, you can accomplish this by turning off track
changes in both the source and destination documents.
Once you have finished copying, you can turn track changes
back on.
 
It should work if you position your cursor and do a file
insert instead of a copy.
