Track changes

I moved a word file from 2002 to 2007 but when I open it in 2007,
compatibility mode or 2007 it shows track changes. I can turn the changes off
and save the file but when I reopen the file or send it to anyone the changes
show up.....not good.

What I am doing wrong?

Simply turning off the display of tracked changes does nothing to remove
them from the document. You have to accept or reject the changes, either all
at once or individually. See
