Track Changes that won't let go

Having finished editing a Word 2002 document with Track Changes turned, I
found that after accepting all changes, the document will not go back to
letter page size, but is stuck with the extra 2 inch border used by the TC
comments. It says that the margins, tables borders, or paragraph indents
will not allow that page size. Having adjusted all of these (which USED to
fit on a letter size page), I still get the error message. Has anyone else
seen and successfully fixed this without having to create a whole new
document?

It must think there's a change or comment left somewhere in the
document. Does the "Next" or "Previous" change/comment button produce
anything other than "There are no tracked changes or comments in the
document"?

Assuming you're in Word 2003, go to Tools, Options, Track Changes, and set
balloons to "Never."
