Track Changes - Multiple reviewers

I have a document (Word 2003) that I need to track changes on it.
Changing the colours etc makes global changes. It will go between 2 authors, but I need to the changes to be shown differently each time it is used. I don't want to accept or reject changes each time they are made, I want an ongoing history as the document is done. Any suggestions please.
