Track changes colour and strikethrough

Hi there,

Using Word 2002 (Office XP), and having trouble getting
deletions to show in track changes as strikethrough.
Tried simply clicking-off ballons setting, but now Word
highlights deletions in the same way as insertions - just
makes text green. Anyone know how to force the style to
show strikethrough text for deletions?

Also, Word has decided to use light grey and light orange
to colour the changes from authors. How do I get it to
use normal colours like blue, red, green for different
authors in one document? It never used to use these hard-
to-see colours.

Thanks
Mojo

But unfortunately you can't change deleted text options in Word 2002, as
some idiot removed it (it's back in 2003),. However, you can still do it
using VBA:

Options.DeletedTextMark = wdDeletedTextMarkStrikeThrough

You can enter this in the Visual basic immediate window (Alt - F11,
Ctrl -G). You only need to run it once.
