Total the sum in a cell

I need to get the total sum from B1:B26 and get it to total in B27. What is
the formula?

a copy of options
in cell B27 type
=SUM(B1:B26)

or click in cell B27 and click the autosum icon on the toolbar (the funny E
shaped one)

considered going to HELP index and typing in the word sum
