toshiba hard drive diagnostic/test utiltiy ?

Hi
Finally i have found out that the hard drive in my compaq preserio 2710us is a toshiba hard drive
specification is
DRV,HD,20GB - 253920-001

DOES any body know if there is a toshiba hard drive diagnostic/test utiltiy available that could be used for the above specifications
I have contacted Toshiba, and they are saying they do not have any diagnostic utilities available


Please Help

I can't help you directly, but have you been to the Support pages for
Toshiba HDs? Here's the link to their FAQ page:

From there, you should be able to find other pages for Tech Support,
Drivers, etc.

Because it's classified as OEM, it's up to Compaq (or rather HP) to look
after it as far as any warranty repair or replacement is concerned.

I could not find any utility on the Toshiba website.
