Tooltips Have Disappeared

Hello, All --

In the last two days or so my Toolbar and System Tray tooltips have
disappeared. Previously, when I hovered the cursor over an icon there, up
popped a tooltip. Now, I get nothing.

Can anyone please help me get them back? It will be greatly appreciated.

Using Win 2k Pro with SP4.

Thanks so much for that info. It turns out that the tooltips had been
knocked out by a program I had installed a couple of days before my post. I
tracked it down, uninstalled it, and the tooltips came right back. I
informed the developer about it, and he said that it was a known bug he was
working on to eliminate.

Anyway, I appreciate your help. The info you posted will be of value to me,
and, I'm sure, to others in the future even though that was not the cause of
my problem.
