Tools/Track Changes

Please help! Trying to use track changes vertical lines only in a two column
word document. On screen its great but when I print the vertical tracking
lines (where text changes occur in both column a & b) appear on the paper
only on the right hand side of the document. How can I get the track changes
feature to appear in the left hand column where appropriate, as well as the
left where appropriate?

Please advise if you have a solution.

I think your only solution is to temporarily reformat your document to one
column only. The following will not answer your question but may help with
others that you would have:

There is no MS Office 2003 for Mac. If you are really using a Mac version,
you should repost your question on a Mac-specific group, stating the correct
version.
See here for gateway to Mac-specific ngs:

Or try digging the Mac groups out of the English tree somewhere--they are
listed under Macintosh rather than under Office, I think but am not sure.
