Tools / Media Tools menu greyed out in NTBackup

Hi
I'm running a W2K server SP4, and trying to use the backup
program with a Seagate Travan STT20000N SCSI tape drive.
Theis drive has been working with backupexec on this
machine.
NTBackup sees the drive, but it does not see any media. I
need to add/format media from the Media Tools menu, but it
is greyed out. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Right-click My Computer and press Manage.
Expand Storage / Removeable Storage till you select your device.

Try Preparing from there.
