After wishing I hadn't installed SP2, I am still trying to get everything to
work that should from SP2.

One of them is that from the IE menu "Options/Manage add-ons" I should get a
popup windows (dialog) that allows me to control ActiveX components and how
they're used in IE. However, when I click on that menu, absolutely nothing
happens (no error, no popup, nothing).

Is this a know issue with IE? Help/About shows version:
6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2.rtm.040803-2158

I did have some issues just installing XP SP2 that I haven't figured out yet.

Hi Jeff,

Type this command from Start, Run dialog:

regsvr32 %SystemRoot%\system32\extmgr.dll
-and-
iexplore.exe /rereg
