Having an annoying problem with XP settings.

On my taskbar, the quick launch toolbar no longer loads when windows starts.
This is a recent event, as it has worked fine and I use it every time I'm on
the PC. I have set and re-set the options in properties, applied, OK'ed,
etc. even tried different combinations - yet every time I restart, no quick
launch and in properties the box has no checkmark.

Check if this will correct the problem:

xp_toolbar_error.vbs Corrects the Error Creating Toolbar problem.

This script will correct the error message Cannot Create Toolbar For......
by automatically recreating your Quick Launch folder for you.

To use: Download the xp_toolbar_error.vbs file and save it to your hard
drive (you may want to right click and use Save Target As). Double click the
file that you extracted to run the utility. The utility will tell you
whether or not your Quick Launch folder was recreated or not (it won't
overwrite the folder if it is present).

Incorrect Userinit value might be the problem. See:
