Toolbar for WebTabs is MIA

I've been using the WebTabs toolbar with
my IE6 browser, but it has disappeared. IE still thinks
that it is displaying the toolbar so I don't know why it
won't show. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling WebTabs,
but that hasn't worked. I also checked to see if
the toolbar was hidden somewhere on my browser but it's
definitely not. The tech at Microgarden WebTools (they
make WebTabs) had me try some things in the Windows
registry with regedit, but that didn't help.

Any suggestions?

Get ToolbarCop:
http://www.mvps.org/sramesh2k

ToolbarCop removes the Toolbars, Toolbar buttons and unwanted menu-extensions from Internet Explorer. It does not remove the spyware from the system entirely.

Additionally, run Ad-Aware scan (www.lavasoftusa.com). Update Ad-Aware before scanning

Thanks for the (boilerplate?) advice. Not sure why you're
suggesting I remove toolbars when what I'm trying to do
is to get one back. Anyway, I did download ToolbarCop
(I don't seem to have any unwanted toolbars) and I did
run Ad-Aware (and deleted some unwanted crap). My
WebTabs toolbar has not reappeared, however.
Any other suggestions?

Removing the CLSID using toolbarcop and reinstalling may get back the webtabs bar.

Make sure if the "Disable third-party browser extensions" option in the IE Advanced Tab is unchecked. This open prevents toolbars from loading with IE.

Sorry, I don't know what a CLSID is. Are you saying to delete the webtabs bar (using
toolbarcop) and then reinstall it? (Toolbarcop says the webtabs bar is active, even
though . . . it isn't.)
Make sure if the "Disable third-party browser extensions" option in the IE Advanced Tab is
unchecked. This >open prevents toolbars from loading with IE.

If you mean Tools-->Internet Options-->Advanced, I have no "disable third-party
browser extensions" option. The "enable third-party browser extensions"
option IS checked. Suggestions? Thanks, Ramesh.

The third-party browser extensions seems to be enabled. Are you able to see the option in View > Toolbars? If so, try this and reset the toolbar position in registry, you may get the WebTabs bar back. Again check the option in View > Toolbar >

Reset the toolbar setting from Registry using this fix:
