Tool-tips hidden by task bar. How to fix, plz. Thx!

Hi,
In my WinXP config, I auto-hide the task bar. Balloon tips for task-bar
items, however, are mostly hidden by the bar when it's activated. I
noticed in a (groan) reinstall of my system that this wasn't the case,
until I brought the system back up to where it had been recently.

Is there some way to fix this? I definitely want to keep the auto-hide
feature on.

It isn't related to auto-hide taskbar. This is a old and known bug in XP. One easy
way to correct this (temporarily) is go to "Start > All Programs", right click a
folder or subfolder and choose "Sort By Name".
