I used to have the following options on my tool bar: "Mark as Spam", "Mark as
not Spam", "Mark as Junk", Mark as not Junk". Simply highlighting an email
and clikcing on one of these button identified the sender and email
accordingly. They are now gone from my taskbar and I can't find anyway to
get them back. Any help would be gratly appreciated. Thanks

These buttons (except for "Mark as not Junk) are not Outlook functions, so
you must have had a third-party add-in that gave you the functionality.
Reinstall that add-in.

Jack,
Did Brian's advice work? If not I had a similar problem using Norton
AntiSpam with Outlook 2003. Outlook was deactivating it. To get it back in
Outlook Help>About Microsoft Outlook>Disabled Items...>In the Disableed Items
hightlight the one you want, in my case it was Nortan Antispam, then click
Enable. I thing you have to restart Office or maybe boot your computer. Let
me know if this works.

Actually, that's good. Scanning incoming mail often causes more problems
that it cures and as long as you have the on-access scanner installed and
operational, scanning mail gains you no additional protection.
