If you want to manually partition, and especially if you may want to
manually adjust the partitions at some subsequent time I sugges that
you get a good partitioning utility such as BootItNG from
www.bootitng.com
If you don't want to use the boot manager utility (for booting
multiple operating systems) then do not install it. Just create the
bootable diskette or CD from the downloaded file and use them to
handle your partitioning work.
If you are planning on sticking with FAT32 partition remember that the
maximum practicable size for a FAT32 partition is 128 binary gigabytes
(137 billion bytes) as FAT32 partitions larger than that cannot be
handled by Scandisk, Defrag, and many other disk utilities.
Also the very large cluster sizes used with FAT32 partitions over 32
gb makes them very inefficient in terms of disk space utilization,
especially for smaller files.
