TOC Word 2007

I have a 200page+ doc with multiple levels that I want included in TOC. The
document is in font style Tahoma. Each level of style has been set to Tahoma
with variations. However, when I create the TOC, all the levels appear, the
page numbers are in Tahoma, however the chapter titles appear in Times New
Roman. When I look in "modify" it states that the levels are in Tahoma. I
can of course change it to Tahoma manually, however everytime I update the
table after adding further text, it reverts back to Times New Roman. Very
frustrating!

What you are describing is caused by direct font formatting on the heading
paragraphs in the text. Make sure to modify the heading styles to include
the desired font instead. Then update the TOC.

If it still doesn't work, select each heading and press Ctrl+SpaceBar to
clear any remaining direct font formatting.
