To unable to update software!

After numerous attempts, to update the software... The
error message reads, unable to connect to the Internet!
Next question: is there any way to fix this? Or will the
software, on its own, connect to the Internet when new
updates, are available. Otherwise great interface and
performance. That said our there any connectivity
solutions out there? Thanks, Peter

Is your firewall allowing it to enter the 'net?

I also cannot "connect to the internet" to get updates.
I did put an exception in for the program in my firewall
settings, but this did not solve the problem. I have
installed and uninstalled several times.
It did work at one time.
I still get automatic updates, but I can not do a manual
update.

I to am able to get the automatic updates but not the
manual ones. I get the warning message that it can't
connect. At least the automatic updates are working.
