To Spell or Not to Spell

Word stops checking spelling in certain areas of my documents. I have gone
though the "options" but they are set correctly. Is there a way to turn
on/off spelling in certain areas of a document?

FYI: Potions of my documents are enclosed in tables.

Thank you! I went through every aspect for making Word 07 check spelling,
but nothing helped. All buttons are checked correctly, reset and applied.

Additionally, MS Outlook has decided that after 100 words or so in an email
to stop spell checking. If I copy/paste the email into Word, Word does not
check the spelling either - unless I paste it as "special - unfrmatted text".
Could I be pressing something accidently?

As you saw in the article, there are ways to "turn off" spell checking for
selected text. When you check on the setting of "Do not check...," be sure
you have the problem text selected.
