To Sli: re MSN tech support

No, that one MSN tech support person was realy great.

No aspect of their explanation had a hole in it, unlike
the "reader" explanations. (sorry)
If you knew what they call a tech support professional at
MSN these days, you would choke.
They are obviously grossly underpaid. In the chat help,
they are in a foreign country and some of them are
marginal at English usage, on top of not knowing anything.
It appears to be all "boilerplate" answers,
obsequiousness, and cheat sheets.

I contacted SIX people, both by phone and chat, to try to
implement OE, as I needed server info, etc., which the
Wizard said I should "ask my ISP" for. Imagine the irony
that msn knows NOTHING about OE, outside of outdated cheat
sheets. OE basically is no longer acknowledged or
supported. They consider it a dinosaur, at best, and don't
like Outlok either. Only the one veteran person had a
clue. He was great. I waited so long I almost hung up on
him. Had I, I would still be going around in circles with
idiotic MSN support.

Unfortunately, the other "tech supporters" could not even
acknowledge the EXISTENCE of OE, so I think we had better
fire them all. Even though some of them work for
$1.25/hour, no benefits.
