"to many different formats"

I have a large workbook with multiple spreadsheets. When
trying to cut and paste other worksheets into existing
pages or as copies from another workbook, I get the error
mention in the subject line.

Is there a specific limit as to the number of formatted
cell types you can have? Is there a work around.
 
Mike,

You are limited to about 4K cell formats, including every combination of
font, font size, bold, italics, color, number format, etc. You should reduce
the number of formats used.
