To make contactgroups in Outlook

I wish to make groups of my contacts in Outlook! i simply do not know how!

One way is with File>New>Distribution List. Many people, however, elect to
group their contacts by putting them in categories and then using the
categories when sending mail to the groups.
 
What version of Outlook are you using? Also, by groups do you mean
distribution lists?
