to embed a song?

Does anybody know how can I embed a song into the ppd so that It'll be one
piece?

Crazy frog,
Don' t know what you mean with ppd but I guess you mean pps or ppt. Only
wave sounds can be embedded.
First go to Tools - Options - General tab - Link sounds with file size
greater than and choose maximum 50000 kb.
Now insert your sound using Insert - Movies and Sounds - Sound from File.

Do you mean ppt file?
For sound, you can only embed wav file.

Check this out:

Click on the link and look under "Quick Fix for WAV sound". If you are using
other sound format, look for the solutions below "Quick Fix for MP3 Sounds"
section and etc.

ok, so i followed those directions, but now it is as if the song is impeding
my slide show from progressing. it will not go beyond the first slide
