to delete a folder?

we have win2k adv srvr with sp4..........i have 3 folders
in one of my partitions which was shared earlier. now we
have removed all the shares & i need to delete this folder
but whenever i try deleting it, i get errors like file in
use, cannot delete......

is there a way to delete it....i also tried going into
safe mode n deleting but i get the same error.

Try this:
- Run gpedit.msc
- Local Computer Policy / Computer Configuration / Windows Settings /
Security Settings /
Security Options / Recovery Console: Allow floppy disk access . . .
- Set this policy to "Enabled".
- Boot into Command Console
- Delete the problem folders
