Title changing

S

Sylvia Thiry

Hi
My question might be simple for some of you but not for me...
Whenever I type my first line in word and press enter twice to have it as my
title, the font changes and becomes bigger (I have heading 1 as a font). If
I carry on writing, it is fine, I have my normal font.
Is there a way for it all my letters to remain the same font as the one
specified?
Thanks

Two comments here:

1. The immediate issue is that your 'autoformat as you type' preferences are
converting your first line to a heading style (Tools > autocorrect >
autoformat as you type). Turn off the option to apply heading styles - and
most of the other options also.

2. You should not be creating space by pressing enter twice. Use paragraph
styles with appropriate spacing added to the paragraph format. You will find
your documents much simpler to work with if you make proper use of styles
instead of trying to avoid them.

Thanks very much, it works. As far as your second point is concerned, I try
to get familiar with it (I read the Shauna Kelly web site, but it is not
easy to get use to all of it at once.). Once again thanks.
