Check out Ubuntu:

http://www.ubuntu.com/

It's free and comes with access to thousands of free programs. You can
install dozens of programs simultaneously without rebooting even once.

It maybe be FREE but NOBODY wants that inferior product. Imagine, Ubuntu is
FREE and NOBODY wants it. Ubuntu has less than ONE PERCENT of the desktop
and the product is FREE. People try Ubuntu and ditch it within hours.

That fact has been proven over and over on a daily basis.

I have a friend who only uses his PC to check his email and look at porn.
Everytime we visited his house the first thing he'd say was could I fix his
PC. I usually ended up having to reinstall Windows, usually a virus problem.
This went on for about 4 years.

Then one day I just wiped Windows and installed Linux. He took to it very
quickly - it worked! And I've never had to work on his PC again. It simply
works.

Same thing happens to the people for whom I have installed Ubuntu. The
Winders die hards keep coming back to get their machines cleaned of
malware.
