After some experience with Vista and reading alot of these post.
I would suggest not to activate your Vista until you are completely sure
that the system is stable with Vista. Or IF you are satisfied with Vista.
Wait out the time given to activate it.
With the hardware upgrade issues being connected to your activation of
Vista. You may be glad you waited. Before activation you can install and
reinstall it with no problem.
Then again...this is only my thought.

I kinda have to agree, the product gives you a 30 day grace period, its not
mandatory to activate like it was in XP after the 14th day.

But... are you allowed to get all the updates without activation?

And it doesn't annoy you with popups to activate every ten minutes like XP
does.

I don't use autoupdate and everytime I resinstall XPSP2 now it only lets me
to get some updates and then it says i have to activate XP to get the rest
of them.

If the OS is activated and there are no problems with it, this should not be
happening. You are leaving out some details here. If you need help with it
post to an XP newsgroup.
