Anyone else have this issue. I went into the Outlook
Calender and all my appointments are off by one or two
hours. Several other users are having the same issue,
anyone have a suggestion, fix or reason for this?

Check your time zone settings both in Outlook (Tools | Options | Calendar
Options) and your PC (Start | Settings | Control Panel | Date and Time) to
make sure they are correct.

To fix the existing appointments, set your clock back so the appointments
are at the correct times. Export your appointments to a comma separated
values file. Now, create a new calendar folder and move the appointments to
it (as a backup). Finally, set your clock back to the current, correct time
and import the CSV back into Outlook.

Norman:

There are 2 places to check for "adjust for daylight savings time."
One is the system clock, and the other is in Outlook's Calendar
options: go to Tools, Options, Calendar Options, Time Zone -- it's on
that page. Make sure the Time Zone setting there is the same as the
one on the system clock.

We began having the same problems today. Both the PC (XP Pro) and
Outlook 2003 have the correct time zone and hte option checked to
automatically change for daylight savings. I suppose we could change
the time back, export and then bring it back in after putting the
correct time in, but it sounds like a lot of work for something that
shouldn't need to be fixed. I have 17 users on Outlook 2003 who have
this problem, though I'm sure some don't know yet and will be late for
meetings since it moves the appt time up an hour along with the clock
time! WHat's to prevent this from happening again in October?

Double click on your system clock (bottom right hand corner of you
screen), on the "Time Zone" tab at the top, make sure th
"Automatically adjust clock for daylight savings changes" box i
checked. Your computer will now automatically adjust when the tim
changes. Outlook takes its cues from the system clock

If the clock is also incorrect, there is something wrong with the clock/time
zone settings. Normally Outlook works fine. However, if the time zone
settings are change or the clock is incorrect after appointments are already
created in the Calendar, this will happen.
