Timed wakeup on XP Pro?

I'm interested in automatically turning on my XP Pro machine at a specified
time -- for example, "Turn it on at 2 p.m.". Either a cold boot or wakeup
from standby, etc.

At first I thought it wasn't possible at all, but looking around it appears
that there *are* ways of accomplishing this. Can somebody enlighten?

This is a BIOS, not a Windows function. Check the manual
that came with your PC.
