Outlook 2003 SP3

Is there a way to determine the following in an email created solely from
within Outlook 2003 SP3?
1) Time opened/started the email.
2) Time ended/sent the email
3) Total time in HH:mm:SS.nnnnnnn to write the email
4) Number of characters in the email (could of words also, if possible).
5) Reporting on 1-3 by a given timeframe or subject of the email or length
of time to do the email etc.
6) Exporting this information to Excel for review?
7) Misc other 'stuff' relating to the above....
Ain't it nice! :-)

no, but you could configure journaling to record when long it took you to
compose messages. everything else would need to be done manually - i.e.,
word can count the words, so you need to copy and paste into word (might
work to hit forward on the sent item if you use word as the editor)

Diane,
I don't see how using journaling will do this. It appears that some of the
functions of journaling are related to a contact. I dont' see how journaling
(Tools>Options>Journal Options) can do how long I take to do an email. Did I
miss something?
TIA!
Tom

journal will record the time you spent on an email. you'll need to add
everyone to your contacts for it to work though.
