First, the clock as shown in the lower right hand corner of the desktop
is correct. It shows the correct local time.
However, the time stamps on files are one hour later than that shown on
the clock. I just noticed that after using XP since the beginning. The
Automatically adjust clock for daylight saving changes is checked and
the Time Zone is EST which is the zone I set when I installed XP back in
November of whatever year it came out.
It would have thought that checking the Automatically adjust box would
have kept the times synchronized. What am I missing here?
