I am running a windows 2000 domain that has no access to
the internet for security reasons and would like to know
if there was a way to configure an internal time server on
one of the DC's so the network can sync its time and
resolve alot of event errors that I log due to time
differences across the network? I am running static IP
addresses on the network and I have about 60 clients and 5
servers which 3 are DC's. Thanks.

I posted this yesterday for someone else.
Get an Atomic Clock program to sync the time server on a regular basis. Next
set up a login script with the Net Time command, (Net Time \\Computername
/set) when anyone logs in it will sync the clocks to the time server.

Atomic Clock will sync to an internal IP or an external IP address also and
syncs every 3 hours. License was $10.00 I think.

Thanks for the reply Jimc

If you're a real cheapskate, you can get DSClock from
http://www.dualitysoft.com/dsclock/.

It's freeware. Gives you several options as to which clock you sync to and
whether or not you just sync mm:ss if you're not in the same Time Zone.

Usual Disclaimers.
