time increments

Is there a way to make the calendar time go to 8 minute increments? Do I have to rewrite part of program to change it?

Nope. You can select a different time increment, but 8 minutes is not one of
them. TO change the time scale, right click on the time bar in the Calendar
and choose the proper increment. 5, 6 and 10 are all allowed, but not 8.
