time date reset

hi every time i start up windows 2000 the date goes back
one day. any idea what this is and how i can fix it?

Is your machine networked? At startup, Windows often time-synchs to
other machines on the network. If that machine is a day off, so will
yours. To see if this is your problem, try unplugging the network
connection when you boot and see if you're still a day off.
