Is it possible to have the date and time update while
continusly scrolling a powerpoint presentation? I have
tried runing a presentation and having loop. However when
I do that the time is never update and only shows the
orginal time when the presentation was started.

Hello Jon,

PowerPoint does not have the ability to display a dynamically updating date
and/or time during slide show. Although there are various add-in's and
workarounds (one of which has already been communicated in this thread),
they will generally not work if you are using the PowerPoint Viewer to
display your slide show.

If it is important to you (or anyone else reading this message) that
PowerPoint provide an out-of-the-box capability for displaying current
(dynamically updating) time and/or date during slide show (without having
to resort to VBA or add-in), please send your feedback to Microsoft at:

As with all product suggestions, it's important that you not just state
your wish but also why it is important to you that your product suggestion
be implemented by Microsoft. Microsoft receives thousands of product
suggestions every day and we read each one but, in any given product
development cycle, there are only sufficient resources to address the ones
that are most important to our customers so take the extra time to state
your case as clearly and completely as possible.

IMPORTANT: Each submission should be a single suggestion (not a list of
suggestions)
