Tile windows

I noticed that the "Tile Windows Vertically" and "Tile Windows Horizontally"
options are missing from Vista. The "stack windows" option is not giving me
the desired result. But maybe I'm not using them properly. I usually have 4
windows that I want visible on my 24" screen at the same time - two sets of
windows, one set on top of the other, as in ...

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Or should I able to use the existing Vista options to get this result?

Hi Candace,

On my Vista, when I open four windows, and no matter what I choose:
Show Windows Side by Side or
Show Windows Stacked
I get the exact effect that you wish, ie two windows side by side on top and
two windows side by side at the bottom.

What exactly are you getting when you have four windows open?

I either get four windows stacked on top of each other, that is four rows
with one windows on each row; or I get four windows side-by-side, that is one
row of windows with each of them set to the right of the other.

Sorry Candace,

can't help. Perhaps someone else will jump in.
The behaviour you describe, I get with three open windows only, but anything
more gives correct stacking.
