cos there is no digital clock

You can do this, but you'll need to use the form's On Timer event procedure
to update your clock. May I ask why the digital time displayed in the system
tray is not sufficient? I just don't see what this really accomplishes,
other than making your processor work harder than it needs to.

If you right-click an empty area of your task bar--that's the bar that
includes the Start button--and left-click on Properties, you may see an
option that reads "Show clock". I can't say that it is there for all flavors
of the Windows operating system, but it is there for Windows 2000 server,
which is what I am using. Do you have a check mark shown in this option
(assuming it can be found at this location)?
