Thunderbird won't import Eudora Address Book.

Hi! I've installed Thunderbird for the first time (version 1.5) on a Windows
XP Home SP2 machine. All runs fine but the import of the Eudora 6.2 Address
Book. It says it's done but nothing displays in the TB address book. Since
there is no export option in Eudora I'm stuck. A try to import the Eudora
..nnt files as text don't work either. Does anyone know how to get out of
this dilemma? Thanks for your kind response.

Thank you very much, Henry, Dawn is a solution to my problem, although
it needs all addresses in one single folder. Now I've to rearrange the
addresses.

You are welcome, Jacques.
Maybe rearranging all the adresses is better than having no solutions
for your problem ;)

Kindly regards.

Thank you very much, but I've found no real free solution for the kind of
problem I have.
Jacques;

I imported a number of instances of Eudora to Mozilla about a year ago.
I had no problems. There was one semi-major annoyance: all the eudora
mail from all the different filtered boxes were placed in one inbox folder.

Have you checked the eudora newsgroups btw? I'd found them quite
helpful in the past.

You may also want to try the Thundebird forums at mozillazine -
http://forums.mozillazine.org/index.php. I imported my
address books and mail from Eudora 6.0 over a year ago and had no major
problems (this was a pre-1.0 Thunderbird and all the issues i had were
fixed at the 1.0 release just a bit late for me :)and those were to do
with inline images).
