Thumbs.db

When I am moving the contents of one entire folder to another drive, it
usually asks do I want to move thumbs.db also, should I move it also to the
same folder????

When I am moving the contents of one entire folder to another drive, it
usually asks do I want to move thumbs.db also, should I move it also to

same folder????

This is a cache of the thumbnails for images. There is no need to move this
file, particularly if there are images in that other folder. It will be
rebuilt in the new folder. If you're moving all the images from one folder
to a an empty folder or to one in which there are no images, then go ahead
and move it to save it having to be recreated. It really doesn't make much
difference which way you do it.
