Thumbnails missing

Hi,

I've got a simple but annoying problem. When I switch the display options to
show thumbnails for the picture and video files, I simply can't get the AVI
videos to display thumbnails too (and we all know they DO support
thumbnailing). I've tried everything I know to get them to show thumbnails
but I simply can't.

Could someone help out with this? I'm totally lost!
