Thumbnails dont work for mpg and wmv files

It seems thumbnails work except for mpg, mpeg, and wmv files. They work fine
for avi files and all picture files. Is something screwed up in the
registry?

I already tried that and it didn't wotk. I also ran SFC /Scannow and it
didn't work. The program made the wmv thumbnails work but not the mpg and
mpeg. Can't figure out why the mpg thumbnails are the only ones not working.
